TERMS & CONDITIONS

Enrolment

  • Enrolments will only be accepted once payment is made.

  • Students with special needs are accommodated for and will be able to actively participate in all of our activities. 

  • All students must bring their own device with a version of Minecraft installed on it.

  • World of Minecraft will provide free unlimited internet/wifi for all students. 

  • All students must be enrolled in a NSW primary school (not preschool) to be able to participate in World of Minecraft programs.

  • ​If your child has special needs, it is the parents responsibility to notify staff.

  • Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend, failure to respond to emails when camps have been postponed or when face to face classes are moved online. It is the parents responsibility to check their emails and our Facebook page for developments. World of Minecraft will make every effort to contact all enrolled families. Failure to respond to our communications will result in fees not being refunded. 

  • Service NSW Creative Kids Vouchers can not be refunded for any reason (including change of dates due to events such as but not limited to floods, bushfires, Covid-19 restrictions etc, failure to attend, sickness etc). A refund will be given for the difference of fees when a Creative Kids Voucher is used when fees are greater than the value of the voucher (for more information, please go to Service NSW Creative Kids T&C's) . World of Minecraft will do its best to ensure that Minecraft Clubs and Camps run as scheduled and will only make changes based on those instances as stated above. 

  • Due to Covid-19 business legislation, limited enrolment numbers will be accepted. Anyone who enrols thereafter will go onto a waiting list. In the event that the list is of class size, an additional class time will be added.

Class Rules

  • Food is not be consumed during the class.

  • Griefing and bullying will not be tolerated. Parents will be contacted immediately to collect their child.

  • All students are expected to complete the curriculum as set.

  • It is recommended that parents stay close to the venue for their child's safety (please ensure that your correct phone number is used at registration).

  • Students are permitted to wear masks in class should they wish to.

Minecraft Mentor/Teaching Staff

  • Hold valid Working With Children's Checks (with Service NSW).

  • Are registered teachers in NSW department schools.

  • Primary role is to enhance students self concept, confidence to learn and to assist student to understand their learning style in the Minecraft space.

  • Will utilise their skills, to the best of their ability, to teach students with the objective to improve in the coding and gamification, however does not accept responsibility for skills not transferred to school-related exams or assessment tasks.

Community Safety

  • World of Minecraft is a Covid-19 safe business and are following all guidelines as outlined on the Service NSW website.

  • All teachers are fully vaccinated as per NSW Health guidelines.

  • Teachers will wear face masks at all times as per NSW Health guidelines. 

  • Parents must sign their child in and out of the lesson.

  • Parents are not permitted on site during the class.

  • Parents must wear their mask at all times as they approach the venue, sign their child in and out of class, wait outside and leave.

  • Should Stay At Home orders (NSW Health) due to Covid-19 be put in place during the school term when Minecraft Club is scheduled to run, the class will be conducted online via Zoom (This link will be emailed to all parents prior to the lesson. The same link will be used for all classes in that time slot).

  • Should Stay At Home orders (NSW Health) due to Covid-19 be put in place during the school holidays when Minecraft Camp is scheduled to run, the camp will be rescheduled. All parents will be emailed and a notice will be placed on our social media accounts - Facebook and Instagram. It is the parents responsibility to actively check their email and social media for updates.

  • Accommodations will be made for children with special needs so that they are safe and their needs are met during class time.
