This term in Minecraft Club, students embarked on a creative 10-week journey. They built and explored imaginative worlds while putting their critical thinking and ICT skills into action. They kicked things off by showcasing their unique builds, which included pet hotels, theme parks, and supermarkets. They also studied various literature and completed artworks in 2D.
Exploring New Dimensions
Throughout the term, students experimented with coding through Minecraft commands. They ventured into fantastical dimensions like the Nether and the End. Here, they designed entire communities from the ground up. Students engineered intricate sky mazes to test their peers’ skills. They capped off the adventure with a cool Slime Lab! Along the way, they mastered tools such as summoning, using effects, fill commands, and much more.
The Power of Imagination
It has been a dynamic, hands-on term filled with imagination, teamwork, and endless pixel-powered possibilities! I can't wait to see you all in Term 4!
Download Your Child's Minecraft World
Parents are welcome to download their child's Minecraft World so that crafting can continue. Here are the instructions:
Go to this link.
Click on the world (class-time) that your child attended.
It will take you to OneDrive and ask you to download the file.
Click on Download.
This will save it to your device.
Then simply click on this file, and it will automatically open in Minecraft Bedrock.
This will work on iPads, Switches, and Laptops.
